My Thoughts:
I’ve really enjoyed The Goddess Test series thus far, and while I really missed Kate in this companion novel, it was interesting to find out more about the history and lives of the council, leading up to how they got to the events and circumstances surrounding The Goddess Test.
This book contains a short story focusing on each of the main characters from the council that we meet with Kate in the main series, and gives us plenty of background into their history, the history of the council, and their relationships to each other. In reading this, I found that characters I hate, I hate more, and characters I love, I love even more.
This was so fun to read, especially because it fills in some gaps and makes some hidden connections to the main trilogy. Fans of Greek mythology definitely must check this one out!
